by either purchasing and installing the Nissan Brake Shim Kit or by using 'disk brake quiet' commonly found in most Automotive stores on the back side of the pads. As far as upgrades go, if you are purchasing new rotors, I'd get Slotted just for 'looks', I highly doubt they'll make a difference in everyday driving, but plan on doing full upgrades: 1) Good Street Pads 2) New/Re-Cut Rotors 3) Stainless Steel lines (Important) 4) 300degree Master Brake Cylinder 5) Good quality brake fluid, personally I like the 'Super Blue Racing' Fluid, however there are plenty of good brands.
